Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using GetXMP, operated by Meratech LLC("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

GetXMP provides AI-powered tools to analyze photographs and generate Adobe Lightroom-compatible XMP files. The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that generated XMP files will produce any specific aesthetic result, and output quality may vary by image.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Payments and Refunds

Bulk orders are charged per photo at the rate displayed at checkout. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed by Stripe.

Refunds: Because XMP files are delivered digitally and immediately, all sales are final. If you experience a technical error that prevented delivery of your files, contact us at privacy@getxmp.com within 7 days for a resolution.

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Upload images that depict illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
  • Circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Resell access to the Service without our written permission

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to images you upload. We claim no ownership over your uploaded images or the XMP files generated from them.

The GetXMP name, logo, website design, and underlying software are owned by Meratech LLC and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

6. Free Tier and Advertising

The free tier of the Service is supported by advertising. By using the free tier, you agree to the display of advertisements during processing. Ad impressions are required to unlock downloads on the free tier when advertising is enabled.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MERATECH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
