1. Who we are

GetXMP ("we", "us", "our") operates the website getxmp.com. We provide an AI-powered Lightroom XMP sidecar generator. You can contact us at privacy@getxmp.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Images you upload — JPEG previews sent for grading. These are processed in memory and never stored on our servers after your ZIP is returned.
  • IP address — used only for rate limiting (free tier). Not logged to disk.
  • Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We only receive a Stripe session ID confirming payment.
  • Email address — collected by Stripe if you subscribe. We receive it only to identify your subscription.
  • Usage analytics — if you consent to cookies, we use Google Analytics to count page visits. No personally identifiable data is shared.

3. How we use your data

  • To process your images and return XMP sidecar files
  • To enforce daily rate limits on the free tier
  • To verify Stripe payments and unlock paid features
  • To display ads via Google AdSense (free tier only)
  • To improve the service via aggregated, anonymous analytics

4. Image data & AI processing

Your uploaded JPEG files are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data sent to their API. We do not use your images to train any models. Images are not retained after your session ends.

We use cookies for Google AdSense (advertising) and Google Analytics (analytics). See our Cookie Policy for details. You can manage cookies via your browser settings.

Uploaded images: deleted immediately after your ZIP is generated (not persisted to disk at any point). Payment records: retained by Stripe per their policy. Analytics: aggregated, retained for 26 months by Google.

8. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

9. Children's privacy

GetXMP is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted at the top with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
